The South Downs Way is a 100 mile long National Trail in the South East of England, it travels along chalk paths high up on the Downs, down to river crossings, and through small villages.

 

The race begins at 10am by the bandstand at Eastbourne, and travels the whole length of the SDW to finish by the cathedral in Winchester, approximately 103 miles later.
